Kids’ Career Quiz

Career quiz using photos instead of questions to assess the six Holland Codes: building, thinking, organizing, creating, persuading, and helping. A career search engine with filters allows for learning about the interest area identified from the quiz.

Career Family Tree

This is a fun activity that can be done as a family to help think about how family career choices might influence your future career choices. This is a great activity to stimulate discussion at the dinner table about planning for the future and dreaming big!

Kids Work!

Kids Work! is a virtual community of workplaces designed to give students an interactive job exploration experience that connects school work to real work.

Classroom lessons are taught monthly to all students.  Each month has a theme based on the developmental needs of our students.  The Spartan Way Team  has helped identify the monthly focuses for all students:

The groups for group counseling are formed based off of the data that is collected by the SAEBRS screener as well as teacher & parent input. Parents are notified anytime it is identified that their child may be a good fit to join a counseling group.

Individual counseling by the school counselor within the Primary school is often to find solutions to short term problems, check-in on personal wellbeing, and/or teach skills that are essential in the school setting. If you feel as if your student needs consistent or long term counseling I am help to provide support in helping find a professional mental health expert that fits your needs.

Body Calming Activities

If your child is having a difficult time calming their body at home the GoZen! Website has several different techniques that could help your child with regulating their emotions & bodies.

Clothing Community Resources

 As we know, kids grow very quickly and often grow out of their fast. If you are in need of support when it comes to clothing as well as some household items please visit the Luxemburg Area Community Closet & Resources located in Casco in the old middle school. If you have clothing & household items that you would like to donate you are able to drop them off there, too.
